So there I was minding my own business, when out of the blue came this rogue phone call from mom. She enlightened me of the not so fulfilling voice mail from the assisted living center that had been left earlier while I was out. She informed me that Grandma had fallen and was in the emergency room:( Super long story short, Grandma broke her hip.
Sadly when Grandma went into the ER she was not eligible for surgery, due to her heath status and age. For a very stressful two days Grandpa and I waited. Finally Grandma was able to have her surgery and receive some new hardware.
So now a few days later we were now able to take Grandma from the hospital today and take her to a nursing home/rehabilitation facility, the same one that she went to when she had a stroke a couple years back. An interesting side note, some of the staff still remembers her by name.
Im really excited to see her get out of the "pokey" (as Grandpa likes to call prison). Im looking forward to seeing her get healthy again and be able to return to her chair next to Grandpa.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad you're up there to take care of Grandma and Grandpa (just remember boy- it's not your house you're living in). Hopefully Grandpa's eyes aren't so sad now that Grandma is slowly improving.
